A few weekends ago, I ran the Foam Glow 5K in Dallas, Texas. The best part of the whole thing was that part of my entry fee went to a charity. I vowed afterwards, however, to never pay to run, ever again.
But it did get me interested in getting up and moving a little bit more on a daily basis. I already play soccer on Sundays, and I do resistance training with my son on Mondays and Thursdays. But I could do more and should. So, I started looking into fitness trackers.
This post isn’t about fitness trackers. It’s about an app I discovered while researching fitness trackers, available for iPhone and Android, that actually generates donations for every mile you run!
Check it out! It’s called Charity Miles! Just like with Give-A-Dime, every little bit helps. Every dime helps. Every mile helps.
If you’re a runner, this app is a no-brainer.
